When Every Door Is Closed and People Turn Away: Why It Feels Like a Curse When You're Just Walking in Circles

When a streak of bad luck begins and every agreement falls apart at the last moment — everything's settled over the phone, but in person you get a no — despair can easily take over. In those periods it feels like the whole world is against you, your paths are blocked by outside forces, and people are deliberately turning away. In searching for the evil eye or external negativity, it's very easy to overlook the main source of the breakdown — your own outdated patterns and psychological burnout.

A man came to me with a situation like this. For a long time, every endeavor ended in failure, and contact with people brought only disappointment. The request was clear: who or what is blocking the roads, and how to break out of this closed loop.

The cards revealed the following: Six of Cups, Nine of Wands, Page of Pentacles, Queen of Pentacles, and Two of Cups.

The first card — Six of Cups — immediately debunked the myth of external negativity or magical influence. The reason for the blockage lies in the past. This is the card of nostalgia, habits, and old connections. The man is trying to solve today's problems with yesterday's methods: reaching out to the same people, using familiar but long-broken schemes, and expecting results from strategies that have run their course. The world has changed, but the approaches stayed the same.

The second card — Nine of Wands — highlighted the emotional state. This is the image of a person worn out from defending, frozen in anticipation of the next blow. Constant defense mode and accumulated fatigue create a position of learned helplessness. The man broadcasts the energy of expecting rejection — and people subconsciously pick up on that defeated attitude before the conversation even begins.

The third card — Page of Pentacles — exposed the reason behind the distancing from partners and acquaintances. The Page is a student, a beginner. The card points to a gap between declared plans and actual results. When a person gets stuck in the phase of intentions but never shows a finished product or a recorded success, people lose practical interest in collaborating.

The fourth card — Queen of Pentacles — gave the key advice for breaking out of stagnation. This is the card of grounding, foundation, and order. The card forbids chasing departing opportunities and demanding help. The Queen of Pentacles suggests focusing on your own space: sorting out your finances, closing small obligations, tending to your household and foundation. When stability and material order appear within, external doors begin to open without pressure.

The final card of the reading was the Two of Cups. The card points to the direction of energy — equal, balanced partnership. You don't need to carry everything alone or ask to be saved. The way out lies in creating a symbiotic union — a business partnership or mutual support with someone where each person contributes equally and complements the other's resources.

The main takeaway from this story: "closed roads" are most often a closed loop of outdated methods, psychological fatigue, and expecting failure. No external forces block your paths as much as your own unwillingness to change strategy. By stopping walking the old routes with the position of a supplicant and establishing solid order in the present, a person regains control over their own life.
