Emotions
Emotional dependency. When your mood depends on someone else

You live his emotions more intensely than your own. And you call it love.
Emotional dependency is when your state is completely tied to another person. He's in a good mood - you're flying high. He's angry - you panic. He doesn't text - your day is ruined. You've stopped being yourself. You've become a mirror of his feelings. And you think that's intimacy. But it's not. It's merging. Boundaries have dissolved, and you no longer know which feelings are yours and which are his.
This is often confused with love. "I love him so much I can't live without him." But love doesn't destroy your autonomy. Love doesn't hold you hostage. Dependency does. And it drains you. Because another person can't be your source of stability. He's human too. He changes too. And when he changes, you crash.
