Anxious Thoughts: How to Stop the Endless Merry-Go-Round in Your Head

You can't control which thoughts arrive. But you can learn not to cling to every single one.
Anxious thoughts are when your mind keeps circling the same material. "What if I get sick?" "What if I get fired?" "What if he doesn't love me?" "What if I said something stupid?" And the loop closes. You think you're analyzing. In reality, you're just spinning in a wheel. The more you spin, the more exhausted you get.
Thoughts feel true. Because they're in your head. They're yours. But a thought is not a fact. It's an electrical impulse in the brain. Born from fear, fatigue, hunger, hormones. And it doesn't have to be nurtured into a catastrophe.
