Boundaries
Boundaries at work: how to stop being everyone's doormat

You sell your time and skills. Not your soul. Not your health. Not your personal life.
Work is an exchange. You give your time and expertise, the company gives you money. It's a contract. But many people turn work into a sacrifice. They take on other people's tasks, stay late, respond on weekends, agree to impossible deadlines. And they think that's "professionalism." That it's how you "build a career." That otherwise they'd be fired.
In reality, this is a lack of boundaries. And it doesn't make you a better employee. It makes you convenient. The one everyone rides on. The one who can't say no. And sooner or later, you'll burn out.
