Narcissism
What Is a Narcissist and How to Spot One

This is not just about being selfish. This is about someone who sees you as a mirror, not a partner.
A narcissist is not someone who loves themselves. It's someone who doesn't truly love themselves but hides that behind a mask of grandiosity. Their self-esteem is unstable. They either see themselves as a god or as worthless. There's no middle ground. That's why they need other people. Not for closeness. But for fuel.
A narcissist uses people as fuel. When you admire them, they feel great. When you criticize them, they feel humiliated. And then they punish you. They ignore you, devalue you, insult you. Because you've stopped being a good mirror.
