How Attachment Style Forms in Childhood

Your first three years of life wrote the script for how you love now.
Attachment style is not genetics or coincidence. It's the result of interactions with your first significant people—usually mom, dad, or whoever filled that role. During those early years, a child learns one big question: Is the world safe? Can people be trusted? Will I be accepted if I show what I need?
The answer isn't recorded as thoughts but as body sensations, nervous system patterns, emotional reactions. You don't remember how mom responded to your tears, but your body does—and it still responds the same way.
