Jealousy. When It's Healthy and When It's Not

Jealousy is not proof of love. It's an alarm signal. And sometimes it lies.
Jealousy is the fear of losing what belongs to you. And the quotes matter here. Because your partner is not a possession. But jealousy sees things that way—as a threat to ownership. It can be normal. When boundaries are genuinely crossed. When there's a real reason. But it can also be pathological. When it comes from your head, not from reality. When your partner hasn't done anything, and you're already scripting betrayal scenarios.
Healthy jealousy says: I care about this relationship, and I'm afraid of losing it. Pathological jealousy says: you're mine, and I won't let anyone take you. The first one can be discussed. The second one destroys.
